On the afternoon of February 23rd, a press conference on the intention of Baowu Aluminum Industry and Kobe Steel Co., Ltd. to establish a joint venture company for automotive aluminum sheets was held in Shanghai. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shensteel Automotive Aluminum) and Baowu Aluminum Industry as the production bases. Leveraging the production technology capabilities of aluminum sheets formed by Kobe Steel over the years and the domestic marketing services and processing center system of Baosteel's shares, we will enhance the supply capacity of high-end aluminum sheets and meet the environmental protection requirements of waste aluminum recycling, providing users with advanced automotive aluminum sheet solutions that integrate EVI (supplier early intervention) cooperation, raw materials, processing, application guidance, and services. Baowu Aluminum Industry has a full process manufacturing system of melting, hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing, and finishing, as well as a green energy melting and casting plant with an annual output of 300000 tons. It has the resource advantage of providing comprehensive services for automotive OEMs and the ability to provide advanced material comprehensive solutions.
